Built for nonprofits, not retrofitted for them
Generic signature tools assume a flat company org chart with paid IT support behind it. We built this to also work for chapters, volunteer boards, and part-time staff — one of the industries we support.
Consistent branding, not a compliance checklist
Staff and volunteers, one brand
Whoever's representing your organization — staff, board members, chapter leaders — sends a consistent, on-brand signature.
Membership credentials, formatted right
CAE and other credentials, the right way, every time, with zero manual formatting.
Never hand-typed
Set once per person, pushed everywhere automatically — no copy-paste, no relying on a volunteer to update it.
Your real chapter structure
Organization, chapter, team, staff or volunteer — your brand cascades the way your organization is actually structured.
Does a nonprofit's email signature have any legal requirements?
Honestly — not really. We looked. There's no IRS or regulatory requirement for what has to appear in a nonprofit's email signature, unlike real estate, lending, or insurance. Some organizations choose to show their EIN or "501(c)(3) tax-exempt" status for donor trust, but that's a choice, not a mandate.
What nonprofits actually struggle with is different: a small staff, a rotating volunteer board, and chapter or region leaders who all need to look like they're part of the same organization — without anyone having to manually format HTML every time someone joins or leaves. That consistency is what this product is for, whether or not there's a regulator involved.
Us vs. a generic signature tool
Enterprise tools like Exclaimer and CodeTwo assume a traditional company structure with IT behind it. Here's where a tool built for lean, volunteer-heavy organizations differs.
| Feature | Email Signature Magic | Generic tool |
|---|---|---|
| Works for volunteers, not just paid staff | ||
| Chapter / region brand overrides | ||
| Organization → chapter → team hierarchy | ||
| Google Workspace one-click connect | ||
