Built for law firms, not retrofitted for them

Generic signature tools don't know the difference between routine correspondence and a marketing email. We built this specifically around how firms actually work — one of the industries we support.

Compliance fields, not free text

Bar number & jurisdiction

A first-class field on every attorney's record — never a typo, never forgotten on a new hire.

A firm-wide disclosure block

A confidentiality notice, or an "Attorney Advertising" label where it applies, set once at the firm level.

Never hand-typed

Set once per attorney, pushed everywhere automatically — no copy-paste, no forgetting it on a new associate.

Your real firm structure

Firm, office, practice group, attorney — your brand cascades the way your firm is actually structured.

What actually needs to be in an attorney's email signature?

State bar advertising rules vary, but a few are specific: New York requires "ATTORNEY ADVERTISING" in the subject line of marketing emails sent to prospective clients, and Louisiana has a similar "LEGAL ADVERTISEMENT" rule — both scoped to solicitation emails, not routine client correspondence. Most states expect attorney name, firm name, and bar admission jurisdiction to be identifiable, and many firms add a standard confidentiality notice to every outbound email as a matter of practice, not legal mandate.

As always, confirm the specifics with your bar association or general counsel — the point of software like this isn't to give legal advice, it's to let your firm lock whatever language is required once, at the firm level, instead of every attorney typing their own.

Us vs. a generic signature tool

Enterprise tools like Exclaimer and CodeTwo were built for general IT signature management, not law firms specifically. Here's where a firm-specific tool differs from a generic one.
