Built for licensed agents, not retrofitted for them
Generic signature tools don't track state license-number rules. We built this specifically around how insurance agencies actually work — one of the industries we support.
Compliance fields, not free text
License number, always correct
A first-class field on every agent's record, formatted the way regulators expect — never a typo, never forgotten.
Designations formatted correctly
CPCU, CLU, and other designations, the right way, every time, with zero manual formatting.
Never hand-typed
Set once per agent, pushed everywhere automatically — no copy-paste, no forgetting it on a new hire.
Your real agency structure
Agency, office, team, agent — your brand cascades the way your company is actually structured.
What actually needs to be in an insurance agent's email signature?
It varies by state, and the trend is toward stricter rules, not looser ones. California now legally requires a license number in all electronic mail involving licensed activity, with specific formatting rules — the font size can't be smaller than the agent's other contact info, and it has to sit near their name. Other states are adopting similar requirements.
As always, confirm the specifics with your compliance team or your state's department of insurance — the point of software like this isn't to give legal advice, it's to make sure whatever's required gets set once, as a real field, and shows up correctly for every agent automatically, instead of being typed by hand and easy to get wrong or forget.
Us vs. a generic signature tool
Enterprise tools like Exclaimer and CodeTwo were built for general IT signature management, not insurance specifically. Here's where an insurance-specific tool differs from a generic one.
| Feature | Email Signature Magic | Generic tool |
|---|---|---|
| License number as a real field | ||
| Designation formatting (CPCU, CLU, …) | ||
| Agency → office → team → agent hierarchy | ||
