Built for contractors, not retrofitted for them
Generic signature tools don't know what a contractor license number is or where it needs to show up. We built this specifically around how home services companies actually work — one of the industries we support.
Compliance fields, not free text
License number, always correct
A first-class field on every team member's record — never a typo, never forgotten on a new hire.
A promo banner that actually works
A "Get a free estimate" button or seasonal offer, built in — not a Canva image pasted into an email client.
Never hand-typed
Set once per team member, pushed everywhere automatically — no copy-paste, no forgetting it on a new hire.
Your real company structure
Company, crew, team member — your brand cascades the way your business is actually structured.
What actually needs to be in a contractor's email signature?
It varies by state. California's Contractors State License Board interprets "advertisement" broadly enough to cover a signature block used to solicit work, and requires the license number to appear legibly and unabbreviated — other states have similar rules, and even where it isn't codified, including it is common practice and builds trust with homeowners comparing quotes.
As always, confirm the specifics with your licensing board — the point of software like this isn't to give legal advice, it's to make sure whatever's required gets set once, as a real field, and shows up correctly for every estimator and crew lead automatically.
Us vs. a generic signature tool
Enterprise tools like Exclaimer and CodeTwo were built for general IT signature management, not home services companies specifically. Here's where a trade-specific tool differs from a generic one.
