Built for broker-dealers and RIAs, not retrofitted for them

Generic signature tools don't know what a supervised, firm-wide disclosure is. We built this specifically around how advisory firms actually work — one of the industries we support.

Compliance fields, not free text

CRD / registration number

A first-class field on every advisor's record — never a typo, never forgotten on a new hire.

A firm-wide disclosure block

"Member FINRA/SIPC" or any other required language, set once at the firm level and locked for every advisor.

Designations formatted correctly

CFP, CRPC, and other credentials, the right way, every time, with zero manual formatting.

Your real firm structure

Firm, office, team, advisor — your brand cascades the way your company is actually structured.

What actually needs to be in a financial advisor's email signature?

FINRA Rule 2210 governs communications with the public, and correspondence has to be retained and supervised under Rule 4511 — firm name has to be clearly identified, and titles or designations that aren't actually held are a common exam finding. "Member FINRA/SIPC" is a widely used standard tag, though exact wording and placement are firm-specific, not dictated by regulators.

As always, confirm the specifics with your compliance team — the point of software like this isn't to give legal advice, it's to let your firm lock a disclosure block once at the firm level so every advisor's signature carries exactly the language compliance signed off on, instead of each advisor typing their own.

Us vs. a generic signature tool

Enterprise tools like Exclaimer and CodeTwo were built for general IT signature management, not advisory firms specifically. Here's where a firm-specific tool differs from a generic one.
